A well-crafted action/suspense movie. My one gripe would be that action fans who’ve never seen the first two films would find the exposition dragging.

When the action’s on, IT’S ON! But the scenes involving his self-revelation bear less weight to those who aren’t too involved with the trilogy.

Judging this movie just because I haven’t seen the first two would be unfair, and I’d have to say, from what I’ve seen here, it’s pretty good. Intelligent and engaging, when it’s on, that is. Just don’t believe the testimonials from the commercial: “non-stop action.”

Action fans should look unto “Shoot ‘Em Up,” which promises balls-to-the-wall-30-second-exposition-90-minutes-ass-kickery. (Hopefully) Plus, in the tradition of pinoy action movies, it has a softcore scene with a hot lady. (Belucci — I saw the preview, sex + guns? That’s sure to feed some gun fetish.)
