deadpool!
Next to Batman, Deadpool’s probably my next-favorite character from dem comicbooks. Here’s a few snaps of 2004’s Marvel Legends Deadpool. (Yes, I do need a better lighting setup for taking toy pics, lulz.)

So. Missed writing that year-end post (which is a tradition) and a coupla more blog things because of … well, personal reasons.
Here are a coupla toy pictures instead:
TFU Predacon Bruticus
So. Younger cousin Duncan (thanks, yow!) gave me this as a Christmas present. Yep, his colors are really like that — surprisingly though, I’ve grown to like him — now I want a Beast Wars Optimus. The munky one.
I enjoyed him for his playability — even more so than the next two toys:
Planned on cleaning my room yesterday (only because outside the veranda, it’s starting to look like a wasteland) and I ended up taking pictures of my toys instead.
(this one has lots’o pictures:)
If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a pretty big toy dork.
I’ve been collecting toys since January 2004, when Spider-man Classics (350/each at the time! seriously!) went BOTO (Buy One, Take One) — a friend and I each picked the figs we liked, and split the bill.
I chose Manga Spider-man, only because it was released a year before, and the toy looked goofy.
My collection’s not as complete as I’d like it to be, but hey, between my college allowance, tons of missed meals and the “extra” money from all my previous jobs, it’s not so bad. :p
This is the first time I’m posting this anywhere, so —
See that big-eyed, short red figure between Wolverine and Deadpool? It all started with him. I’m not a completist — I only bought the characters I liked — some of the action figures are in the bins of sin, only because I ran out of display space.
So last week, dropped by day 2 of the 4th Toys and Collectibles Christmas Fair with Mikko —
and what was there? Tons of cheap loose/boxed ML, DCUC, DCIH, Joes, TF, comicbooks and custom figs. If ever you’re looking for cheap giveaways for your inaanaks this Christmas, I think this is the place to get ‘em.
Also, I finally got myself a TFA Voyager Optimus Prime! AWESUM!
(all the GI Joe stuff is Mikko’s)
I did see the Walmart Punisher that I like — but my money’s reserved for my mum’s gift.
So, drop by the 4th Toys and Collectibles Christmas Fair — last chance tomorrow (later) the 22nd! Woohoo!
(Incidentally, failed the original “bloodpod” mission after the Fair. LOL)

Here’s a couple more pictures of TFA Optimus: (Not to mention that the wrist guard on the right arm snapped off. Booo! Prolly brittle plastic?)
the derp axe.
I love CSI — ‘cept for when they go “Hollywood” on what their computers/Photoshop can do. I think this comic by Nedroid illustrates this best.
Anyway, macro is scary — it almost makes some CSI-things plausible:
Try running this over AFIS and get nothing.
)
If we had Photoshop-CSI Edition, they’d be able to extrapolate which part of the house has a view of the light like that, and what kind of camera I’m holding, based solely on the position of the hotshoe. LOL (Also, not because of the macro or anything, they could probably tell that I need to sleep earlier. And often-er.)
Here’s a picture of my new favorite non-person living being in the house: Cleto! (A siamese fighting fish, Betta splendens)
Also, he’d like you to think that he eats faces based on the pile of skulls in the background.
As for the origins of the name — between you and me, my cousin will tell you it came from the name of a town/comune in Italy, but I know it’s from this movie.
