Starbucks is giving you one more reason to get out and “Rock The Vote.”

The Coffee Giant of the USA has launched a Voting Drive that includes offering a free 12 oz “Cup of Joe” to anywho who votes in Tuesday’s presidential election.

The idea is to encourage customers to vote, the company says

Voters can show their “I Voted” sticker as proof. In states where there is no proof of voting, the giveaway will be done on the honor system.

There is a limit of one cup of coffee per customer.

I’m guessing it’ll be quite an ice cream, donut and coffee party after the elections — sugar highs and caffeinated post-vote citizens waiting out on the most important decision of the year.

Wonder what we’ll get by next elections?  Free puto and gulaman?

“Coned Crack.” That’s what I’m calling Sebastian’s ice cream from now on.

Watching the crowd before me, it was pretty obvious that they got their first taste long before me, and now they’ve returned for more coned crack.

For October, they have a Trick or Treat special, which is vanilla ice cream showered with all sorts of those Hershey’s mini’s, spliced with 2 parts Reese’s and some Butterfinger. It was good. I had a taste of the Blueberry cheescake and I start to wonder how they crammed so much of the Blueberry / cheesecake taste in there.

It’s one of those nice rare finds; just before everyone else starts yapping about it, you can have the pleasure of introducing it to your friends. 85 for a scoop, and 140 for a double scoop.
