By my estimate, I get sick about 1-2 times/year — and since this is my frequency for illness, my weakling body overcompensates. In hindsight, drinking 4 nights-in-a-row last week wasn’t that good an idea, especially the last one — where apparently, as my cousin tells me, I sleepwalked in El Pueblo. (Talent!) Then again, no regrets.

Here are (and these following points are not to be trusted, for I am under the influence of Ofloxacin, Erdosteine and sum Biogesic) some things to ponder:
Japanese Game Shows – We all know Takeshi’s Castle and whatnot, and various attempts at the localization of several of these game shows, but I wonder — why watch ‘em? We’re not in the contest, so there’s no stake at whoever wins/loses, so why? BECAUSE they’re just so goddamned entertaining! Also, Baikingu on TV5 is a RIOT!
Airconditioned Waiting Rooms – Earlier this year, I found out that I have a high tolerance for waiting in hospitals (hehe) — and since these days, a fever isn’t just a fever, my grandmother took me to a clinic for a check-up — where we had to wait for HOURS in an airconditioned waiting area. Too cold for the fever, too warm outside. I hate health risks.
Touchy-Feely – Apparently, we are a culture that DOES NOT believe in thermometers. When my lola tells people that I have a fever, they have their hands planted on my neck or the side of my face IN A FLASH.
Tasty tasty taste – Not having any means not having appetite. Add some antibiotics in the mix and you’re never sure if you’re eating some tasty gyros or something made of soft metal.
Sleepy UFO – Boo. Third week and missed one already. Will make up for it. I even had tons of Friendly Fires stuff for last week too! Boo!

This year though, there wasn’t any magical weight-loss and misnumbered white blood cells and no hawt doctors to make the fever go away.

Ran out of things to talk about. Besides illness, what do you want to talk about?
