“‘Twas CBS that finally slayed the beast.”
CBS Cancelled Moonlight! Blergh.

In other news, Spectacular Spider-Man’s shaping up to be my favorite super-condensed re-telling of the beloved hero. Episode 10 and we already have The Lizard, Electro, Rhino, Shocker, Sandman, Hammerhead, Doctor Octopus, Black Cat, Chameleon and the Green Goblin. (whew!) The banter is awesome, going back to the roots of the hero:
Dr. Octopus: Do you ever shut up?! Spider-Man: Sorry, no. My fans expect a certain amount of quippage in every battle.
What bothers me is the opening sequence though. The part where DNA strands are displayed and the words “DNA Hacked” keeps flashing. Ergh!
*** The House 2-part season finale is … do they always have to end seasons with big deal issues that would end up resolved by the next season?! … Will 13 be staying?

****
The Office season 3 finale is full of laughs. Toby’s going away and a new HR is taking his position. It’s amazing how they put out hour-long episodes for a sitcom and yet keep the funnies high.

***** Marvel’s releasing Sky Doll … translated! Whee!

******
Scarlett Johansson’s putting out an album! (Anywhere I Lay My Head) Filled with Tom Waits covers — I’ve yet to hear what that sounds like.

Remember that funny parody trailer from Grindhouse? Machete? Apparently it was so well-received that their working on a real movie, starring Danny Trejo as the machete-wielding machete? Forgot his name.
“Yesterday he was a decent man living a decent life. Now he is a brutal savage who must slaughter to stay alive.” Bad. Ass.
******** In other, other news: I don’t have diabetes! Plus, I’m happy the large hadron collider‘s run got postponed. Not ready to get turned into strange matter yet.
