Do people even know how to ride bikes nowadays?

Used to be, you’d have to go to Burnham Park and start learning from the karts — assembled three-wheeled bicycles whose frames are made of steel, and whose seats are cut-off monobloc chairs. Then you move up to two wheels.
Riding a bike is one of those “once-you-learn” sort of affairs — plus, working up a sweat over those pedals pump up more oxygen for the brain.
I could feel bad about bicycle theft, because, as a much-smarter cousin points out — it’s still theft, but I imagine the smarter, less-carboon-footprinting folks I’ll be giving joyrides to. (On the stolen merch, of course.
