‘Twas 1997 when I first came across Max Payne.

The game got released almost four years later (2001) … and it was good.  By 2003, we got a sequel (that played shorter) and it was still good.

So the other day, the trailer for the movie, starring Mark Wahlberg (as Max Payne) officially hit.  Will it feature the same “drug-addicts-killed-my-family-so-I’m-trading-the-suits-with-a-bad-ass-leather-coat-to-shoot-my-way-from-the-underworld-to-the-top-monologuing-noir-style-in-stylish-slow-mo-flair,” (pill-popping on the side) awesomeness?  (Okay, so I’m a bit confused with the whole angel/supernatural bit.)  Guess we’ll have to wait.

BTW, Mila Kunis plays Mona Sax.  (We all know what happens in the sequel lol)
